Drake Hit by a Jeep!

On April 7, Drake got hit by a jeep on the street in front of the store. He appeared mostly fine except for a nasty gash on his back leg. I took him to the animal hospital where they hooked him up to an IV to alleviate his shock. He got staples on his leg to stitch him up. He got the full spa treatment... chest xrays, an ultrasound on his stomach, and blood work - to make sure there were no internal problems (they did not do any xrays on his brain...) I left my credit card and $730 later he was fine (he didn't get a mud facial, too bad).

This is 10 days after the accident. Hard to get a good picture of how nasty this cut really was. 

Notice the shaved spot on Drake's foreleg (from the IV). He had multiple shaved spots from all of his scrapes. 

Ultrasound....

And the verdict is.... it's a Girl! Well, they say that with 80% certainty...
